HECTOR HERNANDEZ & ORLANDO MENDEZ led Pioneros de Quintana Roo during the visitor win 97-88 in Monterrey, over Fuerza Regia, one of the main candidates in the Mexico LNBP.
The Mexico NT stars stepped up big time for their team. Hernandez netted 20pts (4/10 3pt), 9reb, 4as, for a +25PER, while Mendez nailed 16pts (4/8 3pt), 4reb, 7as, and +23PER.
Pioneros kept the 2nd position in the standings, and will be the most dangerous opponent for the current champions, Soles de Mexicali.
